I would tell u to hear James Blunt. And since you're mentioning Jhonny Cash, you have to hear the soundtrack of Walk The Line. Joaquin does a really good job, atleast as far as singing is concerned. Havent seen the movie so cant talk about it.

I agree about White Stripes. I got 'Get behind me Satan', and havent really enjoyed it. Maybe I need to give it a better hear.
